Nelonik vs Vorac

Welcome to the first day of the Tournament Battle Royale! The first match will be between a Warrior Student so exceptional that she was allowed to participate when normally only those of Apprentice rank and higher would've been, and an Apprentice Wizard who's no stranger to pain! Who knows, maybe this'll give him an edge in the ring! Please welcome our first challengers; Nelonik and Vorac!

Rules are as follows;

Each participants power will be delegated by a dice roll, randomly rolled by an Admin. The higher the number, the more your power. Highest dice roll wins.

There will be a maximum of three rolls per match. Best two out of three takes it. Post accordingly. Your dice roll numbers will be posted in the ChatBox. This is completely random, so no complaining.

Apprentice each get one dice to roll
5th and 4th Division: 2 dice
3rd and 2nd Division: 3 dice
1st Division and Champions: 4 dice.

In combat, make everything a suggestion, or else it is considered godmodding, which is prohibited. For example;

DO NOT: John leaped up, bringing his sword down and cutting his opponent on the arm.
DO: John leaped up, preparing to cut his opponent with his readied sword.

The second is a suggestion; it gives the other time to react, letting them decide if their character is hit or not.

Though do remember the dice rolls; you must let your opponent hit you at some point, or else the match will go on forever. React accordingly to your opponent's number.

Vorac walked into the field of battle,not really knowing what to expect,just looking around a bit nervously,wondering who his battle opponent would be "Oh goodness...what have i gotten myself into.." he muttered to himself,a little freaked out at what was currently going on. he practiced what was told to him,making a nicely sized fireball,then dispersing it "I can do this.."

Nelonik strode onto the field. She was confident in her abilities. 'Some apprentice who knows pain huh? sounds like Derris had a toy.' she thought taking stock of the man before her. 'Then again.....he's not very good at what he does.....' With out waiting for him to strike first she took the advantage, bringing out how two handed sword with one hand and charged the boy. "Prepair to lose!" She shouted prepairing to swing once she got into close distance.

He then hurled the fireball in her direction,closing his hands,making it turn very tiny,making it buzz around her like some kind of bee,hoping it would give him some time to run away and formulate a plan of some kind

Nelonik ignored the tiny fireball and kept charging, simple small burns wouldn't slow her, she trained too much to be caught off guard by a weak diversion. Jumping into the air, she swung down with her sword at the boy.

He screamed out at her quick advancement.jumping to the side,grunting as the blade caught his blade somewhat,he then hit the ground,rolled a couple time and laid there for a few second,collecting himself"Ow... that was a close one.. he got back up and winced as the lil trickle dripping down his back. he then held his hands out,starting to charge up a fire ball,focusing it into a circular shape

Nelonik grinned. "This will be even closer!" She lifted up the blade gripping it with two hands to give it even more power and charged again, getting close and quickly kicking up dust in a spin with her sword dragging on the ground to conceal her location, then struck out again at her opponant swinging up.

he exploded the fireball suddenly,making himself launch backwards about thirty feet,screaming as he soared through the air,landing with a thud "Crap...bad..idea.." he groaned from the soreness of his landing,hoping his opponent got caught in the blast as well. he then started to raise pillars of earth around himself slowly,hoping to give himself enough time to conjure a stronger spell

Nelonik took the blunt of the blow, causing her armor and sword to heat up as she stood her ground. "Either this guy is no amature, or he's just really dense." she groaned. 'His wound would start bothering him if this keeps up, I just need to keep him on the run, but he's cornered himself.' She thought as she quickly made her move using her sword to climb the pillars. once she reached the top she started hitting the roof to make it fall in on him.

He focused on reinforcing the walls of his little barricade,making little earth spike slowly push out,hoping to discourage her from standing on it.smirking to himself 'ive got it now..' he smiled to himself in the darkness. after a few minutes of reinforcing his dome,he took out a lil water pouch hidden in his robe,applying some meager healing spell to stop it from bleeding,unable to do anything for the pain tho 'grr.. have to beat her without moving to much' he thought to himself after that was done,he focused on making more spike push out of his dome

Jumping down off the dome Nelonik watched it. "I wonder how long he can last with out air..." She asked herself placing the sword tip into the ground to act as a shield should the dome start shooting at her. While she thought. 'Certainly no amature with earth magic. It's the fire that back fires on him. He's got an advantage all I can do is wait for him to emerge and strike then. I say with a dome that size he's got about fifteen minutes before he needs air. Shouldn't be much of a problem.'

he started sweating and then wiped his brow,trying to figure out what to do next,stopping the spike from advancing. he then made a small gust of wind slowly pick up the dome around him,slowly moving toward her at a snail pace,stopping every two minutes to rest,he then dropped the dome,the spikes then retracting back into the dome,trying to think of what to do next

Nelonik watched the dome come to a stop in the ground again then grinned. Using her sword to get back on the dome again she impaled the blade into the dome. She then leaned to one side to get it to start rolling, if she was successful she was going to keep it rolling at a faster and faster pace to make the wizard dizzy, and unable to fight.

he closed his eyes,getting into sync with the rocking,holding his hand out,balancing himself in the dome,letting her do as she wished with it,focusing heat into the blade of her sword,trying to supercharge it so it would be to hot for her to handle

Nelonik jumped off and let the dome roll away as she felt her sword getting hot. SHe knew the air would be getting stale by now with the movement in there he was doing to keep fighting back. 'He's not planning this out very well. He's trying but he can't do any damage if he can't slow that thing down with out stopping himself.' She though as she impaled the sword into the ground and watched the dome while getting into a sitting position grinning. "Only a matter of time." She thought.

the dome crumbles and he falls over on his face,panting and sweating profusely,stumbling to his feet,making a small fire ball,hurling it at her lazily,his vision blurring from the intense heat that was in the dome. he throws a few more fire balls at her then groans and falls over from exhaustion and his back wound

Letting the fireballs impact her armor she got up and walked over to him. "I have to admit you had some good plans, but you cornered yourself. That done was tough." She said to him turning him over and pointing her sword at his head. She held it there a few moments before sheathing her sword and walked away. "Good battle, but you need to practice planning with what you know, than trying stuff you don't." She said letting the judge call the battle.

And the winner of the first match is.....Nelonik! A round of applause for her! WHo would've guessed that a Student would come so far! Vorac certainly gave her a run for her money, but in the end the winner was clear.
