Knil vs Xen

The next match will be between an Apprentice Cleric who will try her hand against a more experience 3rd Division. WHile the matching may seem unfair, who knows! Perhaps the Cleric will have some tricks up her sleeve that may get the better of her more-experienced opponent! So, without further adeu, please welcome Knil and Xen!

Rules are as follows;

Each participants power will be delegated by a dice roll, randomly rolled by an Admin. The higher the number, the more your power. Highest dice roll wins.

There will be a maximum of three rolls per match. Best two out of three takes it. Post accordingly. Your dice roll numbers will be posted in the ChatBox. This is completely random, so no complaining.

Apprentice each get one dice to roll
5th and 4th Division: 2 dice
3rd and 2nd Division: 3 dice
1st Division and Champions: 4 dice.

In combat, make everything a suggestion, or else it is considered godmodding, which is prohibited. For example;

DO NOT: John leaped up, bringing his sword down and cutting his opponent on the arm.
DO: John leaped up, preparing to cut his opponent with his readied sword.

The second is a suggestion; it gives the other time to react, letting them decide if their character is hit or not.

Though do remember the dice rolls; you must let your opponent hit you at some point, or else the match will go on forever. React accordingly to your opponent's number.

She couldn't stop shaking even as she steppeed into the arena. Oh she was not ment to be here, no no no! ell, why was she here?! She was a cleric, an Apprentice Cleric. Still, there she stood, within the circle of the arena, her slight form shaking like a leaf on the fall wind.

Striding into the arena with leisurely steps, Xen eyed her opponent with crossed arms, watching the girl's shaking body with mild interest. There was no way she should be here, if she was this freaked out already. It could be a ruse, but somehow, the Aranetil very much doubted it.

Unsheathing her sword when the beginning was announced, she twirled it around a bit in her grip. "You really sure you should be here? I'll give you the chance to forfeit before we get started." she offered, not bothering to grab her shield off of her back.

She eyed her oponent with what could only be described as pure fear. When she began to swing her blade, knil began to waver as if she may pass out, hell, she probably was going to. A small sob escaped her at the girls words, forfit? She didn't even want to be here, she had been forced against her will and was currently frightened beyond belief. She swallowed a lump in her throat, her hand subtly glowing as she shook her head, unable to find her voice, she had to try.

Cocking an eyebrow at the girl's refusal, Xen simply shrugged and paused in her slow stride, darting forward quickly and bringing her sword up to slash at her opponent. It wasn't a lethal blow, but the girl would certainly be hurt if she didn't dodge it. Nah, she wasn't about to kill someone this small. Wouldn't be very fair.

Knil's eyes widend when she saw the blade slowly getting closer and closer and shockingly, she did dodge, in her own way. Her vision went black and she fell back onto her back limply, clearly passed out from fear, after all, how else could such a nervouse little drow finaly be so calm and not shake? She layed there limply on the ground, her conciousness long since gone.

Pausing steps shot of her attack, Xen stared incredulously at the unconscious girl in front of her, wondering why in the world someone so...uh....delicate would sign up for something like this. Standing up straight, the Aranetil sheathed her sword with a mental shrug, and picked up the unconscious apprentice, intending to bring her to the medical tent while the announcer did his thing.

And...the winner of the third round is Xen! A round of applause for them both, despite the rather...unexpected ending to it.
