Xeii vs Killian

The next match will be between Killian, a battle-hardened Warrior, confidant in his skill, against Xeii, a fleet-footed, agile rogue. Champion versus a third division, will Xeii even stand a chance? I have a feeling this will be quite the match! Please give it up for our next challengers, Killian and Xeii!

Rules are as follows;

Each participants power will be delegated by a dice roll, randomly rolled by an Admin. The higher the number, the more your power. Highest dice roll wins.

There will be a maximum of three rolls per match. Best two out of three takes it. Post accordingly. Your dice roll numbers will be posted in the ChatBox. This is completely random, so no complaining.

Apprentice each get one dice to roll
5th and 4th Division: 2 dice
3rd and 2nd Division: 3 dice
1st Division and Champions: 4 dice.

In combat, make everything a suggestion, or else it is considered godmodding, which is prohibited. For example;

DO NOT: John leaped up, bringing his sword down and cutting his opponent on the arm.
DO: John leaped up, preparing to cut his opponent with his readied sword.

The second is a suggestion; it gives the other time to react, letting them decide if their character is hit or not.

Though do remember the dice rolls; you must let your opponent hit you at some point, or else the match will go on forever. React accordingly to your opponent's number.

From one of the two large archways, a tall and massive drow male entered, his eyes on the archway opposits of him, that's where his challenger would be coming from. He had been told that his challenger was a rogue of sorts.. or he may be wrong, his memory was not something he bosted about, at all, that was all Faern's area, not his. As he stepped into hull view of the loudly cheering crouds, he raised his massive arms into the air and the cheers gt louder, a grin spreading accross his thin lips as he urged the crowd to cheer louder and appease his pointed black ears. His long silver hair swayed in the light wind. Ah yes, this was what he had been missing all those decades with his brother. He knew his brother would be missing the feeling of battle too, but not as much as Killian, he missed war like he missed sensable women!

The rogue made his way onto the battlefield calmly, although, prepared for the battle to come. His opponent was a well versed warrior many ranks above himself. Not overwhelmingly, but recognizably so. Despite this, Xeii kept his composure. He entered the competition knowing the risks and what he could be putting himself up against, so it was hardly a surprise, and he was actually very grateful for the chance to challenge such a skilled warrior. It would give him a better idea of where he stood as far as rank went, and a chance to push his limits.

Was Xeii confident? Hardly. Although it didn't stop him from trying.

He recalled the battles before his - the first was between a young warrior and a young wizard. The two were still pretty rough around the edges, but had shining potential and a fiery motivation to boot. The next between the first division warrior and first division archer, which was a well balanced and interesting match. Although he could hardly call the receding match fair, that which was between an apprenticing cleric and a 3rd division warrior. He thought it was poor in choice for her to join, but nevertheless, he respected the fact the cleric didn't surrender so easily, and despite being as fearful as she was, attempted to continue on.

That was the past though, this was the present. Narrow gray eyes scanned over their surrounding watchers, before setting themselves on the man who stood before him. Cocky would be an understatement. No, he was much more than that. Egotistical better suited him, and Xeii imagined, win or lose, he would spend the night having that massive ego stroked by swooning women.

Xeii stretched his arms, feeling an array of satisfying pops, before reaching into the sheath on his back and retrieving his fighting staff. Many would think it would be poor in choice to use a stick of all things, but his staff had seen more blood than many warriors swords. The sound of metal plates skidding across each other was heard as he extended the crafty weapon so it was a lengthy 7 feet. Not too much taller than himself.

Studying his opponent for just a moment more, he opened his mouth to speak, but decided it against it. Instead, he bolted at Killian, planting the end of the staff in the ground yards in front of him and using it to vault over the brawny man. He landed directly behind him, quickly regaining his balance and lifting the weapon to hit Killian over the head.

Killian was still happily guading on the crowd but he easily saw the sudden blur of movement as the boy vaulted his much smaller self over Killian, a feat in itself to get over his massive form. He gave a throaty laugh and pulled his word from his back, dropping to his knees and turnning swiftly, his muscles buldging as he slashed his sword at the boys mid section thanks to his hight but was able to avoid the poles attack to his head, raising his shield up over his head to insure the pole did not hit his head.

Xeii jumped back as the metal met his flesh, and he ignored the familiar burning sensation that spread out over his torso. He wouldn't pay any mind to it, not until the end of the battle, it was just a flesh wound. Although he was a little bewildered by the warriors speed, it was something he hadn't quiet predicted. He reminded himself of the rank of this specific warrior and that he would have to be better prepared. His eyes quickly moved up and down the figure, looking for flaws in his form.

Once again, he bolted at the man, and it looked as it he would attempt the same move once more. But instead, he ducked and rolled as he crossed his path, standing once on the other side of the man and planting his staff in the ground once more. This time, however, he used it as a way to push himself off the ground in a two legged kick aimed at Killain's back.

Killian frowned at the boy before him constantly determind to seem to get at his back, seeming to be his biggest weakness. He moved a foot, pressing it into the ground he use the forse to spin himselfaround on his knee, greeted by ever nearing feet, Killians mind began to reace with what he could do, rais his arm, not a large enough surface and strong area to deffend. so he threw up his shield, bracing it with the fore arm it was strapped to and his other hand. If he was able to block this he would use his strong muscle to shove back at the feet that would colide with the shield, if this went bad he may end up hitting himself with his own shield which would no doubt be painful.
